Hi, I am Miss Esther of the American Gerbil Society. I will be your guide today - or tonight if you are visiting during the night time. I have enlisted the assistance of other society members for the creation of this site. The original Gerbil Love website was on MSN, but as my server has changed and I needed something a bit more flexible for this site I moved it to Freeservers.

Gerbils ... just thinking about them brings a warm and "fuzzy" feeling to my heart. It isn't just that they are cute, but they are just so - unique. I love them, from their tiny whiskery noses down to their puff tipped tails. It is my affection for these pocket pets that had lead me to create this site - so many others had. I must admit that this is not my most updated site, but it is hard to come up with new stuff and nobody wants to send anything in - ah, so what. This page is still up ... though I must admit the numbers of visitors have been good. I am not sure though, if I will be keeping it for much longer ... only time will tell.

My main objective is for education to those who wish to learn more about gerbils and the second objective is entertainment for the rest. I can only pray that I will accomplish both.

This is a part of the main AGS website. I am not the leader of the AGS so emailing me about membership will not do any good, so my best suggestion is that you ought to use the contact information on the AGS site. If a person is known as an abusive creep, a criminal, or is in any way a low life then you can probably bet that they are unkind, neglectful, or otherwise rotten to their animals. This has been proven on "Animal Cops". A person of good moral character will care for his or her animals' well being and even their happiness.

Gerbils are cute and furry; It is so much fun to watch them scurry,

In the fluff, out on the hut, under the shavings, and gnawing a nut.

Day or night, they scuttle to and fro, around endlessly on wheels they go.

Gerbils are fun little guys, who watch your every move with their button eyes.

They love their seeds and nuts, to take and sneak-eat in their little huts.

Who couldn't love something so charming, with cuteness so disarming?
